2020 was a challenging year, especially for those with elderly parents. I received a call from a friend in April last year – “It’s been pretty difficult, my mother passed away unexpectedly from Covid and we need to move dad into our home. They lived in Havertown and we need to get their home sold… it needs some work. Can you help? What should we do?”
To save time, I picked up the key from their house and headed down to take a look around. Family members had cleaned out some items, however there were still many personal items and furniture that needed to be removed. The walls needed paint, the carpets and floors needed to be repaired/replaced, and the house was no where ready for sale. So, I took a bunch of photos and shared them with the seller, along with a market analysis and a proposal to get them sold fast.
